The Accountability and Transparency in eTIMS course is a practical training program designed to help taxpayers, accountants, business owners, and public sector professionals understand how transparency and accountability are strengthened through Kenya’s Electronic Tax Invoice Management System (eTIMS).
eTIMS is a digital invoicing platform developed by the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to improve tax compliance, enhance transparency in business transactions, and ensure accurate reporting of income and expenditure through electronic tax invoices.
This course explores how eTIMS promotes financial accountability, audit readiness, and transparent record-keeping by requiring businesses to issue verifiable digital invoices for all transactions. Participants will learn how to properly onboard, operate, and manage eTIMS systems while maintaining compliance with tax regulations and ethical financial practices.
